Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
1. Who we are
PSI Algebra BV ("PSI Algebra", "we", "us", "our"), operating from Diegem in the Brussels metropolitan area, Belgium, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and during our engagements unless a client agreement states otherwise.
As a company specialising in privacy and data-protection advisory, we apply the same GDPR standards to our own processing that we recommend to clients.
2. What data we collect
We collect contact details and enquiry information you choose to provide when requesting information, opening a prepared email enquiry, or booking a free readiness assessment. This may include your name, email address, organisation, role, and message.
During assessments, audits, or consulting engagements, you may provide information about your organisation, systems, policies, and compliance posture. The scope and handling of engagement data may also be governed by a separate agreement.
Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and security logs.
3. Why we process your data
We process personal data to respond to enquiries, arrange and deliver the free readiness assessment, provide requested services, administer client relationships, protect our website, and meet legal, accounting, and contractual obligations.
Depending on the context, our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, your consent, or our legitimate interest in securely operating our business and responding to enquiries.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and assessment information only as long as needed to respond, provide the requested follow-up, establish or defend legal claims, and meet applicable legal obligations. Client engagement and accounting records are retained for the periods required by the relevant agreement and Belgian law. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with service providers that support email, hosting, scheduling, document management, security, or professional operations, only where needed and subject to appropriate contractual safeguards.
An enquiry submitted through this site opens your email application. Your email provider and ours will therefore process the message under their respective terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
6. International transfers
Where personal data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we use an approved transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with appropriate supplementary safeguards.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data; receive portable data; object to certain processing; and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To exercise a right, email hello@psialgebra.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA).
8. Cookies
The website uses only storage or cookies necessary to provide requested functionality and remember essential preferences. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy and the site's consent controls will be updated before they are enabled.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The revision date above identifies the current version.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or our handling of personal data can be sent to hello@psialgebra.com. Postal correspondence can be addressed to PSI Algebra BV, Bloomz Offices, Lambroekstraat 5A, 1831 Diegem, Belgium.
